We have sold many BlueAnt Supertooth Light devices.  It’s a great product.  It has wonderful noise cancellation, great battery life, noise cancellation technology, clips on the car visor, and doesn’t go into the washing machine (I’ve washed two bluetooth headsets myself and I find this product a welcome relief to the pocket book). 

 The device has a great design.  Turning on the device only requires popping out the microphone.  Four simple buttons and allows you to use voice activated dialing if your phone has the capability (similar to any other bluetooth headset).  What’s truly unique about this device is that it will keep you compliant with the law and you don’t have to stick or put something in your ear.  It’s really easy to pair the device with the phone and it’s simple to operate by just having the microphone pop out.  BlueAnt did their homework to see that this market was ripe for the picking. 

 We tested a device on the roadside.  We stood by the road and had cars moving by us at about 40 mph and the device filtered all the background noise away and allowed us to have a great conversation.  Our second test was driving at 50 mph with the windows down…again fabulous results for the reception on the other end.  Lastly, battery life was great, so you don’t have to charge it everyday, once a week will do.  It comes with a car charger so that makes it more convenient. 

There was only one problem we found with the product.  When you are using it next to a speaker phone, it will get an echo or interfere with another speaker phone nearby.  It was strange and sounded like there was two cellphones right next to each other talking (on the same network).  Perhaps this is just with the Sprint spectrum, but it would be really rare to use this device while you are with another speaker phone working close by.  The problem quickly resolved itself when it was further than about 10 feet away from the speaker phone.   

In closing, the Supertooth Light does what it promises and is a great purchase for the money.  If you don’t like things in your ears or are tired of getting bluetooth headsets out of the washing machine, then this is a great option for you.
